The only thing that exercise balls do not help with is cardiovascular fitness. For that, you need to go on an aerobic exercise workout. A lot of the exercise ball videos do, in fact, recommend this. They say that aerobic fitness is the most important factor in your overall health. I am inclined to agree. Heart disease runs in my family, so I have always been careful to try to keep my heart in the best shape that I can. It has been difficult at times, with a busy work schedule and everything, but I think I have managed for the most part. The exercise ball videos help by allowing you to keep your muscles lean and trim. This makes it easier for me to run over longer distances, in turn strengthening my cardiovascular health. Lean and trim is my goal! I very rarely jump on the newest fad, and I assumed that an exercise ball plan was just what this was – a short lived fad. But, within a couple months a few of my friends got really interested in using exercise balls. They finally convinced me to try one out for myself. I was not expecting to like the exrecise balls that much, but I figured that I would humor them. Exrecise balls can really make a boring workout more fun! Let me tell you, my experience with balance exercise balls really transformed my outlook on fitness. It is amazing how much you can get done with just one inflatable exercise ball. Don't get me wrong – I didn't take to it right off the bat. The first time I tried out some simple balance exercise balls, I actually found it really uncomfortable and awkward. I was doing exercise ball situps, which are not very easy if, like me, you have trouble with balance. I kept falling over and I felt extremely silly. Nonetheless, I couldn't deny that it had given me a really good workout. My abs burned even though there had been no strain on my back. I tried some other balance exercise balls for a couple weeks, and within the first few days I began to get used to the routine. I have to admit that they have done wonders for me so far. The idea behind balance exercise balls is actually pretty simple and elegant. Basically, because they make you stabilize your body instead of just lifting weights in a linear fashion, balance ball workouts are a more natural way of exercising. They use a wider variety of muscles. As a result, they increase core strength. You don't just build mass, but lean, powerful muscles. When you are first beginning balance exercise balls, it can be helpful to have someone show you the ropes. Nonetheless, it really isn't necessary. You can learn everything you have to off of a balance exercise ball video. The movements are usually pretty simple and straightforward, and a good workout instructor will go over the most common mistakes that people make. I would not, however, recommend getting involved in balance ball workout based on a book alone. It can be pretty difficult to learn how to do movements – even simple ones – from a book. It is always better to take a class or watch a movie. I love to watch videos - they inspire me to get fit and stick with it! To me, exercise ball exercises seemed like a stupid trend. One of my good friends is getting into them, and I was very surprised. You see, he is what you might call a man's man. He never goes for that kind of thing. For him, a workout exercise program means jogging, push-ups, sit ups, and lifting weights. He is a no-frills guy. So to see him going in for exercise ball videos was pretty surprising. I wanted to find out more. It turns out the Ball workout videos are pretty deceptive. You think that, because they involve a giant inflatable ball, they will be easy. In fact, they are not easy at all. When you are working out with an exercise ball, you have to use all of your stabilizing muscles. The exercise ball videos have all kinds of different workout routines dedicated to different goals. Some of them build strength, while others build endurance or stability. Whenever you are into, you can probably get it through the exercise ball videos. Exercise Ball Videos I have seen more and more people using exercise balls to help with their exercise routines. These balls are rather large and are made of a softer rubber material. They are filled with just enough air so that they have some form but are not rigid. These are apparently great for all sorts of exercises, but if you want them to be effective you have to have a better guide than your imagination. If you can’t find exercise ball videos in your local store, it is probably because they are not as popular as some of the other types of workouts. You shouldn’t worry too much though, as you can probably find them online rather easily. You can look on sites like Amazon to see if they have exercise ball videos. If not you may want to look on sites like eBay. If you can’t seem to find any videos to help you out, you may want to look for a web site that will give you instructions. Though this can be of some help, nothing will beat the instruction you can get with a video. There are certain postures and breathing techniques you should use when you exercise, and sometimes reading about them will not help you realize what you should be doing. If you can get a video so that you may watch another person, you’re going to get a better grasp on the concept.
